Today is day two of our February Boot Camp session and we are getting our bodies ready for Spring Break and all of that warm weather coming our way. After a week long break between the January and February Boot Camps we are back at the parks, stairs, and trails. Yesterday morning we met at the Corvallis High School track for interval training and tonight we meet at Reser Stadium on the campus of Oregon State University. Tonight will be a dynamic stair workout with interval training on the turf. If Reser is not available this evening we will be at the OSU parking garage next door to Gill. At either location we will incorporate body weight drills, resistance bands, and plenty of core strengthening work in between sets of stairs. The Big Climb Seattle is coming up soon and our Corvallis Fitness Adventures Big Climb Team is working hard to be ready for the event. Even if you are not going to Seattle with us in March that does not mean you shouldn’t participate in our stair workouts. Stair training is an excellent inclusion in our Boot Camp workouts and even those that have difficulty doing stair drills do modified fitness exercises while others are on the stairs. We always modify drills and exercises to work with your physical abilities. Our groups are made up of many different participants and all have different levels of fitness. The one thing we all have in common in the desire to improve our physical fitness and get on track for leading a healthy lifestyle. Come join us!
