Corvallis Fitness Adventures Spring Boot Camp

We are finishing up with our current Fitness Boot Camp and will then take a week long, much deserved break! What a way to cap off our latest Boot Camp by competing in the Big Climb this weekend in Seattle! We have currently raised $3200.00 in donations for Leukemia and Lymphoma Research! Great job to all of our Corvallis Fitness Adventures Stair Climbing Team Members! You have all worked so very hard to get ready for this big event. All of those lunges, sumo squat walks, and stairs will pay off this weekend.

Last night we had a fantastic workout at Reser Stadium on the campus of Oregon State University. The weather was great and we completed the entire new side of the stadium encompassing over 1300 stairs in record time. Woo Hoo! We worked hard on the turf after the stairs with lateral runs, lunges, interval training, and then finished it off with some great core strengthening work. During our cool down and stretching we implemented the foam rollers and everyone got a chance to see what a great tool the rollers are for deep tissue massage and stretching. These will come in handy in Seattle. Our next Fitness Boot Camp starts up March 29th so if you have not signed up make sure to send Shandra an email or give her a call at (541) 207-8526.
