Spring has sprung in Corvallis! What a beautiful weekend! We are experiencing fabulous weather during our Outdoor Fitness Boot Camps. The parks and trails are drying out, the flowers are blooming, and yes, that is sunshine beaming on our faces as we go through our workouts. Last Thursday we had our weekly stair climbing session at Reser Stadium and on Friday morning we had a terrific workout at Chepanafa Springs park behind Timberhill Athletic Club. The fresh air is awesome and the weather has made for great workouts. Yesterday morning a few of us got in a nice 4+ mile run as the kick-off for our training for the upcoming Run 4 Wine Oregon Half Marathon. We have a team of a dozen people that will be participating on Labor Day! We aim to complete that race and shoot for personal bests just like we did during The Big Climb stair race in Seattle. This week will be full of great workouts from stair climbing, Tabata interval work, Slosh Pipes, functional fitness training, and of course are ab blasting core work. Come out and join us!
