Holy cow! Those stairs were tough yesterday afternoon at Reser Stadium on the Oregon State Campus. We had a small group yesterday but we hit the stairs anyway. Nothing like getting a burn in your quads! The weather was great, the surface was dry, and we did up and downs with interval training on the turf. Plenty of Crocodile Push-Ups, laterals, and we even through in some good old fashioned “Hot Potato.” We took plenty of time at the end of our interval training for some partner core strengthening drills. The squishy medicine balls are great for this and make it easy to do ball passing drills to really hit the abdominals and obliques. We finished up this week’s Boot Camp sessions with a morning workout at the old barn at Bald Hill Park. Rain or shine it is such a beautiful place for a workout and to greet the new day.
