Outdoor Fitness Boot Camp combines cardiovascular, strength training, flexibility and nutrition to give you the best possible fitness program in the beautiful outdoors. Outdoor Fitness takes place in an unpredictable environment that challenges the brain as much as the muscles. Clients must adjust swiftly to different terrain, inclines, declines, obstacles and climates. You will actually work 2 to 3 times more in the outdoor environment vs indoors.
You will build overall physical strength and endurance, increase cardiovascular endurance, increase flexibility, improve balance, and improve coordination of fine motor skills by constant adjustment to changes in the terrain. More benefits include a reduction in body fat, a 1-3” reduction in your midsection is possible, weight loss, lower blood pressure, improvement in your self confidence, new friends and lots of fun
This is truly the “outside of fitness” that will take you to different locations that are rural, urban, mountainous and sometimes even beach locations. We can utilize mountains, hiking trails, parks, stadiums, playgrounds, city streets and even downtown locations.
Don’t worry about getting lost in a crowded class. I am constantly working closely with my participants to ensure their safety during the exercises. Without proper form the body functions in an unsafe motion. Our groups are smaller and very personalized. There must be a minimum of 6 per class and no more that 15-20 depending on participant levels.
