			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Rain, snow, sleet, wind, hail:  none of these stop us from training in our <a href="http://www.corvallisfit.com/outdoor-fitnessboot-camps/">Outdoor Fitness Boot Camp</a>! Last night we had a great workout on the Oregon State University campus in the parking garage and we completed 1890 stairs! In between sets of six we really loaded up our legs with weighted lunges, squats, partner drills with resistance bands, and we also managed to get in plenty of push-ups and core exercises. What a workout! As always everyone did a fantastic job of keeping their form while performing each exercise and working hard to push them out. We are getting so strong! It is fantastic to have such a great group of people and each individual makes all of us a team. If you would like to break through your fitness plateaus, workout in a group environment, get out of the gym and exercise in the fresh air then why not join us? Drop-ins are always welcome! 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Next week begins our <a href="http://www.corvallisfit.com/outdoor-fitnessboot-camps/">February Fitness Boot Camp</a> session that will take place at locations in and around Corvallis and Oregon State University. This is a great opportunity for you to get your body into shape for that swimsuit you want to wear during your spring break travels. We will use Tabata interval training, body weight exercises with resistance bands and dumbbells, stair climbing, hill workouts, sprints, partner drills, and many other dynamic fitness routines for you to strengthen your core muscles and increase flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. Nutritional guidance and support is provided to help you get on the right path for fueling that new body that you are going to discover. February is an excellent time to get on the road towards a new healthy you and if you already exercise but are not seeing the results you desire our fitness boot camp will help you break through those plateaus. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Yeehah! What a workout we had last night in Reser Stadium on the campus of Oregon State University. Even though we are on a break between <a href="http://www.corvallisfit.com/outdoor-fitnessboot-camps/">boot camp sessions</a> we had a &#8220;volunteer&#8221; stair workout last night and a BIG group turned out to hit the stairs in the rain. Between pounding up and down the stadium steps and doing interval strength training on the turf we had a fantastic time. Everyone was able to go at their own pace so that it was enjoyable for all and a total body workout was provided. Thanks to everyone that came out and &#8220;volunteered&#8221; for a rainy yet fun time.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Our Corvallis Fitness Adventures team for <a href="http://www.bigclimb.org">The Big Climb in Seattle</a> continues to train hard and last night was no exception. We had a great workout at the parking garage last night and we completed 1680 stairs with some fantastic strength training intervals as well. We mixed our different stair climbing techniques with our own &#8220;fitness roulette.&#8221; Each participant selected two different strength training exercises and then decided how many reps or for how long the group would perform each of the selections. Nothing like doing planks, pushups, suicide runs, wall sits, front raises, and oodles of core work in between sets of stairs! The weather was great and everyone was at their best. Several members of the team hit the soggy trails of McCulloch Peak this past Sunday for hill repeats! We will certainly be ready when March rolls around and we run the stairs at the Columbia Center in downtown Seattle. Our Outdoor Fitness Bootcamp continues this evening with stair interval training at the OSU parking garage. We may have the opportunity to train at Reser Stadium this evening depending on the events scheduled on the field.
