			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Wow!!! This morning was just awesome as we did our workout at the Corvallis High School track. The weather was warm and perfect as we did a thorough warm up prior to heading into a <a href="http://www.corvallisfit.com/outdoor-fitnessboot-camps/">fantastic interval cardio/strength regimen</a>. We watched the sun come up over the coastal mountains and the time just flew by. Nothing like doing lateral runs, crocodile push-ups, lunges, and a whole bunch of partner drills to get your metabolism fired up and ready to face the work day. Everyone did an awesome job this morning (even Russ!). We had a terrific turn out of participants today and our group worked so well together. Way to go Boot Campers! 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Happy Monday and Happy Spring! We got to watch the sun rise this morning from the top of the parking garage on the campus of Oregon State University. When we started our stair workout this morning there was a slight rain but within minutes the skies cleared and the sun rose beautifully for all of us to enjoy. We did 18 sets of stairs this morning for a total of 1890 steps. Everyone did a great job and we had participants of all different levels of fitness. That is the great thing about our <a href="http://www.corvallisfit.com/outdoor-fitnessboot-camps/">Boot Camps</a>, we have a mix of different fitness levels but everyone supports each other through stairs, Slosh Pipe workouts, hill repeats, challenging partner drills, core stability work, and throughout our dynamic stretching routines. This is what fitness is all about:  getting together with great people that all have the same goal and that is getting/staying healthy and making good lifestyle choices. We had a wonderful workout this morning to start off our week! 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Our current <a href="http://www.corvallisfit.com/outdoor-fitnessboot-camps/">Boot Camp</a> is in full swing and our third workout session was this morning at the Corvallis High School track. Interval training was the theme this morning and we woke ourselves up with builders on the football field. We mixed in plenty of strength training, core stability, and of course a great cool down stretching session. What a way to start the day especially since it was not raining! Last night we hit the stairs at the parking garage on the Oregon State University campus. In between each set of 525 steps we worked in plenty of Burpees, Push Ups, walking Lunges, and we used the resistance rings around our ankles for Squat Walks. Talk about a fantastic workout for the glutes and outer hips! Our team for the <a href="http://www.run4oregonwine.com/">Run 4 Oregon Wine Half Marathon </a>continues to grow and we are excited up training for and participating in this sure to be great event! 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>More results are in on <a href="http://www.bigclimb.org">The Big Climb website</a> and there are more reasons to be excited about our stair climbing team&#8217;s performance. This was the first stair climbing race for any Corvallis Fitness Adventures participants and all the months of hard training really paid off. Thousands of steps were run at Reser Stadium and the parking garage on the Oregon State University campus as well as thousands of lunges, sumo squats, resistance band drills, and hill runs. With this kind of training and dedication we hope to put together a team for the <a href="http://www.run4oregonwine.com/">Run 4 Wine half marathon</a> in September. Here are the updated results:</p>
<p><strong>Male age 40-49:  98th out of 317. Female age 50-59:  6th out of 109. Female age 18-29:  102nd and 129th out of 344. Female age 40-49:  130th and 133rd out of 283.</strong> Great job to all that participated! To celebrate several of those that competed in Seattle met at the Gill Parking Garage last night and completed 2100 stairs combined with Tabata Interval Training that included Burpees, walking Lunges, and high stepping. We finished up with some awesome core work and stretches. Looking forward to the beginning of the <a href="http://www.corvallisfit.com/outdoor-fitnessboot-camps/">next Boot Camp </a>which starts on Monday, March 29th. Last night we had a great workout on the Oregon State University campus in the parking garage and we completed 1890 stairs! What a workout! As always everyone did a fantastic job of keeping their form while performing each exercise and working hard to push them out. We are getting so strong! It is fantastic to have such a great group of people and each individual makes all of us a team.
